Darul Qada

Darul Qada handles Islamic arbitration and dispute resolution. We offer a reliable alternative to conventional legal systems by resolving disputes among Muslims according to Islamic law. Our panel of experienced Islamic jurists ensures that all parties receive a fair hearing and that resolutions are in line with Shariah principles.

Zabiha Halal Monitoring

Halal Monitoring Services (HMS), under the Shariah Board of America, certifies and oversees Zabiha Halal meat to ensure it’s hand-slaughtered according to Islamic rules, without mixing with non-Halal products. Our team of Ulama has created a network of certified entities across 13 states, enhancing access to authentic Halal meat. HMS promotes Halal awareness and supports Muslim businesses in obtaining certified products, offering all services free of charge.

Moon Sighting

We facilitate the traditional Islamic practice of moon sighting to determine the beginning of Islamic months, including Ramadan, Shawwal (for Eid al-Fitr), and Dhul-Hijjah (for Hajj and Eid al-Adha). Our moon sighting efforts help unify the Muslim community in observing fasts and celebrations on the correct dates.

Publications

Our publications division produces a range of materials aimed at educating Muslims about their faith. This includes books, pamphlets, and online content covering topics such as Islamic jurisprudence, ethics, spirituality, and the lives of the Prophets. Our resources are designed to enrich the reader’s understanding and practice of Islam.

Islamic Programs for Youth and General Public

We organize a variety of programs targeted at both the youth and the general Muslim population. These include seminars, workshops, educational courses, and spiritual retreats designed to strengthen Islamic knowledge and practice. Our programs cater to the diverse needs of the community, fostering a strong Islamic identity and promoting unity among Muslims.

Commitment to Community and Islamic Principles

Through these services, the Shariah Board of America remains committed to supporting the Muslim community in leading lives that are in harmony with Islamic values. Whether it’s through providing access to Halal food, resolving disputes, educating the youth, or facilitating the observation of Islamic rituals, our goal is to serve as a comprehensive resource for Muslims across the United States.
