Excessive Movement in Salah

Assalamualaykum,

I just have a simple question, would using two hands to fix ur topi or glasses or putting two hands behind ur back to fix ur shirt or pant be considered excessive movement and break the prayer? I've only heard of 3 movements breaking the prayer.

Jazakallah

الجواب وباللہ التوفیق

Your stated movements are considered slight which do not invalidate salah. Although, any movement in the salah is considered makruh. If necessary, only a single hand may be used.

Salah becomes invalid, only when there are three movements in succession, because that constitutes excessive activity. But if the three movements are done nonconsecutively, these are considered as minor activities and will not invalidate the salah.

واللہ اعلم بالصواب
