Is the name Arham an acceptable name?
It does not appear to be one of the names of Allah. However I believe Arhamur Rahimeen is used to describe Allah. Forgive me if i misspoke. I was looking for some clarificaiton on the matter.
It is correct to have the name Arham, "Arham" means more compassionate. “Arham” is one of the attributes of Allah (SWT). As is mentioned in the Qur’an:
This name has also been applied to other than Allah in the Ahadith, as the Prophet (SAW) said about Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA).
Hazrat Abu Bakr (RA) is the most compassionate person in the ummah.
Therefore, it is permissible to have the name ‘Arham'.
