Question ID: 1446 Category: Interpretation of Dreams
Was this a sign by Allah?

Years ago, I had OCD obsession with regards to predicting who I would marry and possible hypersexuality due to a number of conditions. I prayed sincerely to Allah believing in his utmost oneness and omnipotence, and reminding myself of his power and with convinction of tawheed and that Allah alone cold solve my problems, I prayed to Allah for a sign in a dream to ease my burdens, since I normally liked to know my future due to many crisis in youth and wanting to not be caught by surprise and wanting to keep things under control, for fear the unknown was scary. I saw a dream, and I saw that a young woman I went to school with was jumping at me. I was not satisfied, but later was intrigued, but did not believe such a sign would be so obvious as I had imagined. Later, it turned out, according to my descriptions of her to a respected therapist, that she seemed to admire me. we went our separate ways, but if I ever wanted to marry her when I have more resources and mental stability and when she finishes her studies, i can contact her father through the masjid. how should we interpret when we seek answers and it seems like allah is giving us answers? was it a nafsaani or rahmaani dream? she is graduating at around the same time i will likely be financially stable.

بسم اللہ الرحمن الرحیم

الجواب وباللہ التوفیق

This dream is neither divine nor holy, rather it is psychic and satanic. Don't pay attention to it. If you are financially and physically capable of supporting and paying the rights of a wife, then marry a suitable and pious girl.
