Work Related to Packaging Pork

Aslamulaikum,

I have a small question. I work at a company where I have to pick up plastic wrapped pieces of meat, which has pork, chicken and beef, and pack it in boxes. I would like to ask if that is ok in islam or not?

As per the situation described in your question, the items packed in plastic which you have to place in boxes, apparently there is no Shar‘ai restriction in doing so. However you should take utmost caution in dealing with pork.
