One of my relative ask me for fatwa its a critical issue please read it carefully, jazak Allah..
One of my cousin female had a physical relationship with her friend male, almost for years and also she given credit money to him,
After her marriage to someone else, she repent to Allah or tried to do so, now because her ex owed her money so she ask normal fatwa that can she give him zakat and then the ex guy return her money,
Now the problem is she also had physical relationships najaiz, so can she give zakat to her ex friend which she had physical relationship,
Please guide about this accordingly and pray for her and her husband.

It is not permissible to give zakat to one's ascendants (such as one's parents, grandparents, and great-grandparents), descendants (such as one's children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren), one's spouse, a Sayyid (according to the applicable fiqh opinion), or a person who possesses wealth equal to or exceeding the nisab. Giving zakat to these individuals does not fulfill one's zakat obligation.
Apart from these categories, zakat may be given to any relative who does not own wealth equal to the nisab. Therefore, in the case described, if the person in question does not possess wealth equal to the nisab, he is eligible to receive zakat, and you may give your zakat to him.
As for the fact that the woman had an unlawful relationship with this person in the past, that alone does not make him ineligible to receive zakat. However, both individuals must sincerely repent to Allah for their past misconduct and refrain from all unnecessary contact or communication in the future.
We pray that Allah Almighty accepts their repentance, protects her marriage, and grants both of them guidance, chastity, and well-being.
اپنے اصول یعنی ماں، باپ، دادا، دادی، اور نانی اوپر تک اور اپنے فروع یعنی بیٹا، بیٹی، پوتا، پوتی نیچے تک اور اپنی بیوی اسی طرح ”سید“ اور صاحب نصاب شخص کو زکاة دینا جائز نہیں ہے، اور انھیں دینے سے زکاة بھی ادا نہیں ہوتی ہے، ان کے علاوہ اپنے رشتہ داروں میں سے کسی بھی ایسے شخص کو جو نصاب کا مالک نہ ہو زکاة دی جاسکتی ہے؛ لہٰذا صورت مسئولہ میں اگر مذکورہ شخص صاحب نصاب نہیں ہے تو وہ مستحق زکاة ہے آپ اسے زکاة دے سکتے ہیں۔
البتہ یہ بات کہ اس عورت کا ماضی میں اس شخص کے ساتھ ناجائز تعلق رہا ہے، محض اس وجہ سے وہ زکوٰۃ لینے کا غیر مستحق نہیں ہوجاتا۔ تاہم دونوں پر لازم ہے کہ اپنے گزشتہ ناجائز تعلق سے سچے دل سے توبہ کریں اور آئندہ ہر قسم کے غیر ضروری تعلق اور رابطے سے بچیں۔ ہم دعا کرتے ہیں کہ اللہ تعالیٰ اس کی توبہ قبول فرمائے، اس کی ازدواجی زندگی کی حفاظت فرمائے، اور دونوں کو ہدایت، پاکدامنی اور عافیت نصیب فرمائے۔
