Can we give zakat to husband or ex boyfriend whom she had Sexual relationship.
Answer
بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
الجواب وباللہ التوفیق
- It is not permissible under Islamic law for a husband and wife to give their zakat to one another.
- However, if a former spouse qualifies as a legitimate recipient of zakat, it is permissible to give zakat to him or her. A previous marital relationship or past intimate relations do not prevent a person from being eligible to receive zakat.
۱۔ میاں بیوی کے لیے ایک دوسرے کو اپنی زکاۃ دینا شرعاً جائز نہیں ہے۔
۲۔ اگر وہ مستحق زکوۃ ہو تو اس کو زکاۃ دے سکتے ہیں۔محض سابقہ تعلق اور جنسی تعلقات زکوۃ سے مانع نہیں ہیں۔
