In order to further our common agenda for advancement of Halal Zabiha standards and bringing awareness to the Muslim ummah for consuming only halal, the Halal Monitoring Services of Shariah Board of America and Scan Halal have started working in coordination. Both organizations are still standalone, however working together will lead to a framework to:

• Further improve the Halal Zabiha standards
• Implementation of Islamic Jurisprudence in the areas of food and other consumable products
• Advancement in certification of food and other consumer products

Not to mention, this coordination is regarding Zabiha Dietary Preferences only, other Dietary Preferences on Scan Halal app i.e. Non Zabiha or Custom are not supported or recommend by HMS.
