  1. Is clapping permissible in Islam? Is there any Hadith regarding clapping?
  2. When we make Dua in a majlis, can we recite Durud then Surah Fatihah, Surah Ikhlas, Surah Falaq, and then Surah Nas? Someone said to me I should first recite Surah Nas then Surah Falaq, and Surah Ikhlas the last.

  1. It is not an Islamic act to clap in gatherings or at the occasions of Quran and Naat recitation. To praise someone at these occasions one should say Subhanallah, Maashaa Allaah, and Allahu Akbar. I do not know of a Hadith in this context, however, the mention of the Mushrikin clapping and whistling as a worship and Salat is done in a disliked and an undesirable act.

  1. You may recite this way if you are reciting for a specific wisdom or purpose. Similarly, if you have a specific purpose for the reverse method then you may ask your question again mentioning it.
