الجواب وباللہ التوفیق:

If the details of investment and its operating procedures were provided, then specific ruling would have been possible to provide.

However, based on the prevailing operating systems of those organizations, employment in those companies is not recommended due to the following corrupt practices:

1. With a single click of the keyboard button, you are exposed to abundant advertisements and promos of materials, with  no intention of purchasing. Thus a kind of fraud is covertly committed by showing an increase of non-existing visitors to and viewership of those websites, while there is no one interested in those products

Because a single person clicks the button multiple times to falsely indicate large viewership, which tends to be a scam .

2. Click of a button on the keyboard is not something proportionate to the entitled wages or profit, which is not acceptable .

3. Sometimes those ads  contain pictures of living persons, which is also not permissible to see. Therefore, the wages received against this job will not be permissible either.

4. If those ads contain images of women, that amounts to a permanent sin because of the lustful glances.   

5. If that specific website displays or promotes alcoholic beverages and other forbidden things, your earnings will again be unlawful.

6. Generally the modus operandi of such type of businesses offers the first account creator a commission and on every subsequent new account. Since the account creator did not exert any meaningful or measurable effort in creating those accounts, therefore the commission earned is not commensurate with the work done and neither is the work contract valid, according to Shari’ah rules. 

If the above issues really exist, then it is not correct to invest in it per the Shari’ah guideline.

A: Regarding the issue of land protection, it is better that you purchase the land by first performing the “Istikhara”.

B: Keep a watchful eye on the land, and visit it from time to time. It would be better to rent it out for better control, if situation there permits.

C: Take five small stones that are about 250 grams to 400 grams in weight and recite the following on each of those stones separately:

a. Recite Durood Sharif ten times before and after the Suras following Suras:

b. Surah “Fatiha” seven times with Bismillah

c. Surah “Ikhlas” seven times with Bismillah

d. Surah “Al-Falaq” and “An-Naas” three times each complete with Bismillah

e. Surah “Yasin” once

f. Surah “Mulk” once   

g. “Ayat al-Kursi” once

After reciting the above Surahs individually for each one of the stones, breathe on each stone separately (one by one). After blowing off on all five stones, take four of them and bury one in each corner of your plot and press the fifth stone in the middle of the plot. In-Shaa Allah your land will remain protected.

D: It will be a good idea to donate some money in charity with this intention.

According to Fatawa Shami:

والأجرة ‌إنما ‌تكون ‌في ‌مقابلة ‌العمل". 

(باب المہر،ج:3،ص:156)

" عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ الْأَنْصَارِيِّ، قَالَ: سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَيُّ الْكَسْبِ أَطْيَبُ؟ قَالَ: " عَمَلُ الرَّجُلِ بِيَدِهِ، وَكُلُّ بَيْعٍ مَبْرُورٍ ". شعب الإيمان (2/ 434)

قوله (مبرور) أي مقبول في الشرع بأن لا يكون فاسدًا، أو عند الله بأن يكون مثابًا به". شرح المشكاة للطيبي الكاشف عن حقائق السنن (7/ 2112)

الإجارة على المنافع المحرمة كالزنى والنوح والغناء والملاهي محرمة، وعقدها باطل لا يستحق به أجرة . ولا يجوز استئجار كاتب ليكتب له غناءً ونوحاً ؛ لأنه انتفاع بمحرم ... ولا يجوز الاستئجار على حمل الخمر لمن يشربها ، ولا على حمل الخنزير". الموسوعة الفقهية الكويتية (1/ 290):

(هي) لغة: اسم للأجرة وهو ما يستحق على عمل الخير ولذا يدعى به، يقال أعظم الله أجرك. وشرعا

(تمليك نفع) مقصود من العين (بعوض) حتى لو استأجر ثيابا أو أواني ليتجمل بها أو دابة ليجنبها بين يديه أو دارا لا ليسكنها أو عبدا أو دراهم أو غير ذلك لا ليستعمله بل ليظن الناس أنه له فالإجارة فاسدة في الكل، ولا أجر له لأنها منفعة غير مقصودة من العين بزازية" الدر المختار وحاشية ابن عابدين (رد المحتار) (6/ 4)
