Based on the decision from the Central Hilal Committee, Rahmat-e-Alam Foundation announces that 1st of Ramadhan 1442 is on Tuesday 13th of April 2021.
The Moon to commence the month of Ramadhan 1442 was looked for on 29th Sha'ban 1442 (12th of April 2021) after the sunset and was sighted in San Diego by an 'alim member CHC San Diego, CA and 15 members of their community.
